How to Get to Deist in Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls

The Game Boy Advance game cartridge "Final Fantasy I &II: Dawn of Souls" contains the games "Final Fantasy" and "Final Fantasy II." The king of Altair tells Firion to go to the island of Deist at a particular point in "Final Fantasy II." You meet a new character named Leila who joins your party and lends you her ship. You can reach Deist, just west from Bafsk, once you can sail across the ocean on her ship.

Instructions

- 1
  Head north in your canoe from Altair and go to the northeastern edge of the small lake to Paloom. Speak to the first person you see in Paloom, Leila, who offers to take the party to Deist. Exit Paloom, and get on the ship that appears just East of the town.

  Fight off the pirates who attack you on the ship. Leila will join your party and you will be able to sail her ship.

  Head south with the ship until you reach land and then follow the coast east until you see a channel. Follow the channel south into the next small lake and exit that lake through a southwestern channel. Continue south across the ocean until you see land with white mountains surrounding a snowy area.
- 4
  Sail east, following the coast. Continue to follow the coast when it turns south until you see the island of Deist just east of your position. Bafsk is to the West.
