How to Get Through Route 134 in Pokemon Sapphire

In "Pokemon Sapphire," Route 134 is a water route that connects Route 133 to Slateport City. It also is home to the Sealed Chamber, a cave where three legendary Pokemon live -- Registeel, Regice and Regirock. Unlike most calm sea routes in the game that allow you to surf freely, you can surf only one way from Pacifidlog City to Slateport City due to the rapid ocean currents on Route 134 that restrict controlled movement.

Instructions

    • 1

Fly to Pacifidlog Town and walk to the easternmost part of town. Face the ocean, press "Start" to bring up the in-game menu and select the Pokemon that knows "Surf."

    • 2

Surf east onto Route 132. Route 132 will begin as a normal route where you have full control over your surfing direction. However, as you continue surfing east, a strong current will pick up and force you to move in only one direction.

    • 3

Surf onto the southernmost path when the route separates. Battle the trainer and continue surfing east as the route merges onto Route 133.

    • 4

Surf onto the southernmost path of Route 133 past the large pile of rocks. Battle the two trainers and continue surfing east onto Route 134.

    • 5

Follow the swift currents on Route 134 and continue heading east. The rapid current and the route will come to an end at the northeastern edge of Slateport City.
