How to Defeat the Kimono Girls in Pokemon HeartGold

In "Pokemon HeartGold," you must defeat the five Kimono Girls in order to earn the Clear Bell, which you can combine with the Rainbow to summon and capture Ho-oh, a legendary Pokemon. The Kimono Girls each have one of the following evolutions of Eevee: Espeon, Umbreon, Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon. Every time you beat a Kimono Girl, you will receive 4,560 Pokedollars and about 1,600 experience points. You must defeat each of the Kimono Girls without healing your Pokemon in-between battles.

Instructions

  Include a Fighting-type or Bug-type Pokemon in your team to defeat the Umbreon, which is immune to Psychic-type moves. Make sure your Fighting-type Pokemon knows Brick Break, Double Kick, Arm Thrust or any other offensive move. Your Bug-type Pokemon should know moves such as Megahorn, Pin Missile and X-Scissor.

  Bring a Dark, Ghost or Bug-type Pokemon to take down Espeon, a Psychic-type Pokemon. Have at least one Pokemon on your team that knows one of the following moves: Bite, Crunch, Shadow Ball, Ominous Wind, Quiver Dance and Rage Powder.

  Select a Water, Ground or Rock-type Pokemon to defeat Flareon, a Fire-type Pokemon with poor Defense and Speed. Choose a Pokemon that has Physical attacks that deal a large amount of damage. For example, Rollout is an effective move to use on Flareon.

  Choose any Pokemon with a high Attack stat to beat Jolteon, a speedy Pokemon with low Defense. Preferably, you should choose a Ground or Rock-type Pokemon with at least two Physical attack moves.

  Fight with any Electric or Grass-type Pokemon to win against Vaperon, a Water-type Pokemon with high Special Attack and Defense. Moves like Thunderbolt, Fusion Bolt, Magical Leaf and Mega Drain may defeat Vaperon in one blow, depending on the level of your Pokemon.
