How to Reload a GBA Action Replay

The "Action Replay" device for the Game Boy Advance allows you to input cheat codes into the game. Every time you turn off your Game Boy and switch to another game, the cheat codes that you had previously entered are automatically disabled. To reload the codes into the console and the game, you manually transfer the codes again from the Action Replay's computer software in the Windows operating system.

  Connect your Game Boy Advance to your Action Replay device. Insert the Action Replay into the console the same way you would insert a game.

  Plug the Action Replay USB connector into the Game Boy Advance. Plug the other end into your computer.

  Open the Action Replay computer software. If you deleted the desktop icon, use the "Start" menu icon in the "All Programs" folder under the heading "Action Replay."

  Select "GBA Action Replay" from the main menu. The codes that are currently on your computer will load in a window on the left side of the screen. The codes that are currently on your Game Boy Advance will load in a window on the right side of the screen.

  Click on the name of the code you want to reload onto your Game Boy Advance Click the green "Transfer" button in the middle part of the software window to reload the code onto your Game Boy Advance Action Replay.
