How to Use GameShark for GBA With Pokemon Games

A GameShark connects games to a third-party peripheral that once inserted into the Game Boy Advance allows players to enter cheat codes. "Pokemon" cheats include catching level 100 wild Pokemon, obtaining a full Pokedex and teaching any Pokemon any special move. To enter these codes, the games require a "Master" code which can found on the GameShark website.

Instructions

      Search online for GameShark codes, including the "Master" code for the Game Boy Advance "Pokemon" games such as "Ruby," "Sapphire," "Emerald," "LeafGreen" and "FireRed."

      Insert your "Pokemon" game into the GameShark.

      Insert the GameShark into the Game Boy Advance and turn the system on.

      A GameShark menu will appear after the startup logo. Enter your "Pokemon" title's "Master" code before entering any other codes. After you enter your "Master" code, enter the GameShark codes.
