How to Evolve Graveler in LeafGreen

Graveler is a powerful Rock/Ground-type Pokemon in the Game Boy Advance video game "Pokemon LeafGreen." Most Pokemon evolve by gaining enough experience points in battle to reach a certain level --- for example, Geodude evolves into Graveler when it reaches Level 25. However evolving Graveler into Golem, the next step up in the evolutionary chain, is more complicated. Graveler can only evolve when you trade it from one game to another, so you will need a friend with another Game Boy Advance and a copy of "Pokemon LeafGreen" or "Pokemon FireRed."

2 Copies of "Pokemon LeafGreen" or "FireRed"

Instructions

- 1
  Catch a Graveler in one of the following locations: Cerulean Cave, Kindle Road, Mt Ember, Mt Ember Basement or Seavault Canyon. Alternatively you can catch a Geodude and get it up to Level 25, whereupon it will evolve into Graveler.

  Start up the Pokemon game on the other Game Boy Advance, and select a Pokemon that you do not mind trading for Graveler.

  Connect the two Game Boy Advances together with the link cable.

  Select "Trade," and exchange the Graveler in the first game for the selected Pokemon in the second game. As soon as Graveler appears in the second game, it will evolve into Golem.

  Trade Golem back to the first game for the other traded Pokemon, or trade another Graveler from the second game, so that both players have one.
