How to Get Ezel on Your Team in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA

One optional goal in the 2003 Game Boy Advance game "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" is to get Ezel Barbier, a Nu Mou Hermetic, to join your clan, or team. Your characters encounter Ezel from time to time at the Caodan Card Shop, where you can obtain law cards and undertake occasional missions. Toward the end of the game, you will have the chance to convince Ezel to join your clan. When he battles, Ezel uses a mace and casts spells similarly to those in the Alchemist job class.

Instructions

  Complete the storyline of the game until Cid asks for your assistance with a new law card. This is your cue to visit Ezel's card shop.

  Select "Gossip" when you speak to Ezel at the Caodan Card Shop. Ezel tells you that he would like you to help him act as a mediator at an important meeting and that you can find his mission at the pub.

  Visit the Caodan Pub. Select "Missions," and then select "Reconciliation." Accept the mission and pay 6,000 gill as an acceptance fee.

  Complete the "Reconciliation" mission in Koringwood. Watch a scene unfold in Koringwood, and then fight a battle. After the battle, you'll see another dialogue cutscene. Ezel will offer to join your clan.

  Accept Ezel into your clan. You must select "Yes" when prompted to "welcome unit to the clan."
