How to Get the Hyper Beam on Pokemon Emerald

"Pokemon: Emerald" is a Game Boy Advance game that lets the player capture and train hundreds of monsters called Pokemon. Each Pokemon has inherent skills that it learns as it grows, though players also can train them with skills outside of their species. Hyper Beam is a powerful attack that has the potential to kill an enemy in a single blow. However, the Pokemon must rest for a turn after using it. Players can buy Hyper Beam on the fourth floor of the Lilycove City Department Store.

     Travel to Lilycove City. It's east on Route 121 and west on Route 124.

     Go to the Lilycove City Department Store, which is on the northern end of town.

     Walk up the stairs to the fourth floor. Speak with the lady on the left. She'll offer you four Pokemon moves.

     Select "Hyper Beam" to purchase it.
