How to Get to Kanto in Pokemon Silver

Some players of the old "Pokemon Silver" game for the Gameboy Color probably missed out on the continent of Kanto because you can't get there until you've beaten the game and sat through the credits. The Kanto continent contains eight more gyms for you to conquer, but requires that you first defeat all the gyms in the main game and defeat the "Elite Four," the four strongest Pokemon trainers in the first half of the game.

Instructions

- 1
  Defeat the Elite Four and wait until the credits have finished rolling. You will be prompted to save your game. Do so. The screen will fade in to your character in his room and soon you will get a call from Professor Elm.

  Exit your house and speak to Professor Elm. He will give you the "S.S. Ticket" and tell you to meet him on the docks of Olivine City at the S.S. Aqua.

  Travel to Olivine City and go down to the docks. Professor Elm will already be there awaiting your arrival. Speak to him to receive the "National Pokedex," then talk to the nearby sailor and board the ship.
- 4
  Play through the "S.S. Aqua" scene. You will be in Vermillion City in Kanto at the end of the scene.
