How to Get an Electabuzz in Pokémon Silver

Electabuzz is an uncommon Pokemon that made its first appearance in "Pokemon Red" outside the Power Plant. An electric Pokemon with powers similar to Pikachu, Electabuzz also has some psychic power as well, making it a fierce adversary. Electabuzz was exclusive to "Pokemon Red" until it became available in the triple release of "Pokemon" versions "Gold," "Silver" and "Crystal." In each of these titles, Electabuzz can again be found outside a Power Plant, this one along Route 10 in Kanto.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to where Route 9 and Route 10 meet in the Kanto area. You can find this area by heading east from Cerulean City or north from Lavender Town through the Rock Tunnel . You will encounter a group of Pokemon trainers that you will have to battle if you have not already. Battle each trainer and they will lead you to a small river.

  Use "SURF" and follow the water down towards the grassy area. This is the Power Plant.

  Walk around in the grassy area outside the Power Plant until a wild Electabuzz engages you in battle.

  Battle the Electabuzz, but do not cause it to faint. Use a lower level Pokemon to consistently weaken it with small attacks.
- 5
  Throw a Pokeball at the Electabuzz in its weakened state to capture it.
