How to Get the National Pokedex in Pokemon Sapphire

"Pokemon Sapphire" was one of two games in the third generation of the Pokemon franchise. The game takes place in the Hoenn region, with a native Pokedex containing 202 Pokemon found in the region. In subsequent "Pokemon" games, players are able to upgrade the Pokedex to the National version. The National Pokedex is a list of all Pokemon that have appeared in the series. While "Pokemon Sapphire" does not award players a National Pokedex in the natural progression of the game, one can be obtained through special trading.
