VBA stands for Visual Boy Advance, which is a video game emulator for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance. You can play Gameboy and Gameboy Color video games on the Advance. Users play a downloaded "ROM," a type of game file that the VBA is able to read. Pokemon is a series of video games on the Nintendo Gameboy and other Nintendo game consoles. You can save the Pokemon game on VBA's built-in memory card. The saved game is then stored on your PC.

Run Visual Boy Advance and open the Pokemon game you want play by clicking "File," then "Open" to load the game.

Click "File," "Save Game" and then "Oldest Slot" to save the Pokemon Game on VBA. A window appears that allows you to save the game on your PC.

Click "Save" to save the Pokemon game on VBA. To load your saved game, click "File," "Open," "Load Game" and then "Most Recent" to load the last game you saved.
