How to Change Teams in the Pokemon Sapphire Version

With hundreds of collectable monsters in "Pokemon Sapphire," there are sure to be monsters coming and going from your team. As you explore the world of "Pokemon Sapphire," you will encounter and capture new Pokemon to balance out the team. Since a Pokemon trainer can only carry around six Pokemon at a time, you will need to learn how to switch out creatures as your strategy changes. Trading out one set of monsters for others is a quick process that must be learned to progress in "Pokemon Sapphire."

Instructions

    • 1

Enter any Pokemon Center and log into its public computer system. Face the screen of the PC and press "A."

    • 2

Choose the "Someone's PC" option and select the "Move Pokemon" option. This feature sorts Pokemon from both your team of six and the monsters in storage.

    • 3

Highlight a Pokemon in storage that you wish to place on the team and press "A" to select it. Press "Move" to pull the Pokemon from its Box.

    • 4

Move the Pokemon from the Box to your team by placing it in an empty slot in your team. If your team is full, place the Pokemon from the Box over a Pokemon that you wish to place into storage. The replaced Pokemon will instantly be placed in the open Box, while the Pokemon that was in storage will take its place on your team.

    • 5

Press "B" to exit the PC menu, and choose "NO" when "Pokemon Sapphire" asks if you want to continue Box operations. Save the game.
