How to Use Spellblade With Rapid Fire in Final Fantasy V

Final Fantasy V is role-playing game (RPG) developed by Square and released in 1992 for Japan's Super Famicom console. It was later ported to Nintendo's Game Boy Advance and Sony's PlayStation. Final Fantasy V utilizes a job system that allows players to customize their characters by adding classes and abilities that can be upgraded. Once a class is upgraded to its maximum potential, that job is considered to be "mastered." By outfitting a character with specific mastered jobs, a lethal combination can be achieved when using the Spellblade and Rapid Fire abilities.

Instructions

  Choose a character from your party that you want to use the Spellblade and Rapid Fire abilities with. This character should belong to the Free Lancer class.

  Assign the Mystic Knight job to your character from within the Job sub-menu of the Character Status screen. This job allows your character to use the Spellblade ability. This job does not have to be mastered.

  Assign the Ninja job to your character. The job will have to be mastered in order to learn the Dual Wield ability.

  Assign the Ranger job to your character. The job will have to be mastered in order to learn the Rapid Fire ability.

  Equip your character with the Rapid Fire and Spellblade abilities. Using the Dual Wield ability, equip your character with two one-handed weapons. Your character is now ready for battle.

  Cast Spellblade on yourself in the first turn of a fight. In your next turn, use the Rapid Fire ability on your enemy. Your character inflicts a larger than usual amount of damage to the enemy.
