Instructions
Purchase a Ranger Bow from any level 1 shop and equip it to a Hunter. The Ranger Bow teaches the skill Capture, which will let a Hunter catch monsters. Morphers can only transform into monsters that a Hunter has caught.
Attack and kill any type of enemy with the Hunter. In the process, your Hunter gains Ability Points (AP). By earning AP, your characters learn the skills associated with their weapons and armor. Once the Hunter earns 200 AP, he masters the skill Capture from the Ranger Bow.
Weaken enemies by using attacks such as Subdue until the enemy only has a small amount of health power (HP) left. The weaker the enemy is, the better your odds of capturing . The capture rate is the monster's current HP divided by four. With one HP, you succeed 25 percent of the time.
Select "Hunt" and then "Capture" during the Hunter's turn. Highlight the weakened monster to attempt to capture. If you succeed, the monster appears in your Monster Bank and your Morpher will be able to transform into it. If you fail, continue using Capture until you catch it.
Train a Morpher
Equip a Nu Mou with an instrument, such as the Harp or Lute.
Attack and kill enemies until you gain enough AP to learn at least five A-Abilities through the instruments.
Go to the Part Menu. Select the Nu Mou and convert into a Morpher.
Learning Morphs
Equip the Morpher with a Soul. You receive a Soul for every monster you capture.
Select "Morph" during combat to transform into that monster.
Attack and kill enemies to gain AP. After you gain enough AP, you master the monster's Soul. Your character then morph into the monster even if you do not equip the Soul.
