What Moves Does an Exeggcute Learn in Pokemon LeafGreen?

Exeggcute is a Grass/Psychic-type Pokemon in the Nintendo Game Boy Advance game "Pokemon LeafGreen." It is very weak against Bug Pokemon, as well as Fire, Dark, Flying and Poison types, but is resistant against other common types such as Electric, Water, Ground and Fighting. Exeggcute can remember only four moves -- if you want it to learn a new move when all four spaces are full, one of the other moves must be forgotten.
  1. Starting Moves

    • If you catch a young Exeggcute, below Level 7, it will know the "Barrage," "Uproar" and "Hypnosis" moves. "Barrage" is a normal-type attack that throws between two and five round objects at the enemy. "Uproar" is a status move that prevents any Pokemon from falling asleep for two to five turns. "Hypnosis" is a Psychic-type move that can cause the opposing Pokemon to fall asleep.

    Reflect

    • When it gains enough experience to reach Level 7, Exeggcute learns the move "Reflect." This is a Psychic-type move that creates a wall of light protecting your Pokemon from physical attacks.

    Leech Seed

    • At Level 13, Exeggcute has the option of replacing one of its four stored moves with "Leech Seed." This is a Grass-type move that plants seeds on the opposing Pokemon, which transfers some of their health to your Pokemon on every turn of the battle.

    Confusion

    • At Level 19, Exeggcute can learn "Confusion," a Psychic-type attack that makes the enemy confused. Confused Pokemon often strike themselves instead of their opponent, and this is a good move to frustrate the other trainer.

    Stun Spore

    • At Level 25 Exeggcute has the option of learning "Stun Spore," a Grass-type move that can paralyze an enemy's Pokemon, leaving it unable to perform physical attacks.

    Poisonpowder

    • When evolving to Level 31, Exeggcute can learn the move "Poisonpowder," a Poison-type move that scatters toxic gases. If an opponent's Pokemon is poisoned, it will lose a little health every turn until it is healed with an Antidote.

    Sleep Powder

    • At Level 37 Exeggcute can forget one of its four moves and replace it with "Sleep Powder." This is a Grass-type move that can cause the opponent's Pokemon to fall asleep, leaving it helpless, unable to attack or defend itself.

    Solarbeam

    • At Level 43, Exeggcute can learn the move "Solarbeam." This Grass-type move takes two turns to carry out -- on the first turn, Exeggcute absorbs sunlight, and on the next it attacks by blasting a concentrated beam of light at the enemy. This is an effective attacking move, one of few strong attacks that is open to Exeggcute.
