How to Preorder at GameStop

When a video game has been announced, but not released, you can pre-order the game from Gamestop. Pre-ordering the game increases your chances of receiving the game before it sells out. As long as enough copies are available, you will receive your pre-ordered game the day it comes out or a few days later if you want Gamestop to ship the game to your house. Depending on your shipping method, you may have to pay for the game in full when you pre-order it.

Instructions

Go to GameStop's website. Click the search box at the top left of the screen. Type in the name of the game you wish to pre-order. Click the red "Search" button. If you entered the title exactly, the game will appear on screen. If multiple games appear, click the game you wish to pre-order.

Click the red "Add to Cart" button. If the game has a scheduled release date, you can choose to pick up the game up at your local GameStop or have the game shipped to your home address. There is no charge to pre-order and pick up a game at your local GameStop. But if you choose to have a pre-ordered game shipped, you will be required to pay when submitting your pre-order.
