How to Get Pokeblock in Pokemon Ruby

Travel through the game world and collect berries. Pick them from the berry trees that grow along the sides of the roads.

Enter one of the contests halls, which are located in Slateport City, Lilycove Ciy, Fallarbor Town and Verdanturf Town. Walk to the berry blender machine, which looks like a square grey block with red corners.

Talk to the old man standing near the berry blender; he will tell you how much he likes making Pokeblocks. Stand in front of the berry blender next to him and press "A."

Select "No" if you want to receive a tutorial about making Pokeblocks; select "Yes" if you want to get straight to making them.

Select the berry you want to use for making a Pokeblock; the old man will then choose his. The screen will show a close up of the machine and the berries getting thrown into it. You'll see a dial over the hole where the berries were placed, and you'll see a countdown timer that indicates the start of the mini-game. Once the timer reaches zero, you'll begin playing the mini-game.

Press the "A" button as soon as the spinning arrow lines up with your name. If you do it correctly, you'll see a red circle. If you do it perfectly, you'll see a double red circle. If you miss, you'll see a blue "X." The more accurate you are, the faster the arrow will spin and the better the Pokeblock will be. If you miss, the arrow will spin slower. When the arrow stops spinning, you'll see a screen that shows how well you did and you'll receive a Pokeblock.
