How to Get Rid of a Bad Egg in Pokemon Sapphire on GBA

Bad Eggs appear in the "Pokemon" series usually as a result of a hack or cheat. It's the game's response to faulty data and attempting to access its information could lead to a game freeze. Eventually, the bad egg corrupts all your data. Rather than using a cheat to get rid of the bad egg, trade it over to another "Pokemon" game and delete the file.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your Game Boy Advance with "Pokemon Sapphire" inside to another Game Boy Advance loaded with a similar generation game, such as "Pokemon Ruby" or "Pokemon Emerald."

    • 2

Trade the bad egg to the other "Pokemon" game.

    • 3

Delete the save file on the other "Pokemon" game and the bad egg will be deleted with it.
