Instructions for 'Scrabble Blast' on the Nintendo Advance Game Boy

"Scrabble Blast" for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance offers a handful of game modes to expand on the basic board game formula. Use a bag of the 100 tiles in "One Bag" to score the most you can in a one-player game. You must make longer words to explode bombs in "Puzzle." The "Action" mode ups the difficulty by giving you limited time to explode the bombs. The controls of this 2005 game are relatively simple.

     Scroll through the menus with the control pad. Press the "A" button to make a selection and choose a game mode.

     Select letters with the "A" button and use the control pad to place them on the board. Press "A" when finished placing letters to validate the word.

     Cancel selections in the menus and during game play with the "B" button.

   • 4

     Pause and unpause the game with the "Start" button.
