How to Get Espeon in Emerald

Espeon is one of the seven evolutionary forms an Eevee can take in the "Pokemon" video games. Espeon, a psychic-type Pokemon, has a high special attack rating and is most effective against fight and poison-type Pokemon. Eevee is not available in "Pokemon Emerald," and must be traded from either "Pokemon FireRed" or "Pokemon LeafGreen." Once traded, Eevee must have maximum happiness and must evolve during the day to evolve into Espeon.

Instructions

  Travel to Lilycove City and enter the Lilycove Department Store, the tallest building in the city.

  Use the elevator to access the Lilycove Department Store rooftop.

  Press "A" next the vending machine and select Lemonade. Purchase 12 lemonades, each costing $350 and give each to Eevee using the "Bag" menu on the bottom screen of your Nintendo DS. Each lemonade, when given to a Pokemon, will not only recover their health but also boost their happiness -- 12 lemonades is enough to raise your Pokemon's happiness to maximum level.

  Travel to Verdanturf Town and enter the house south of the Battle Tent.

  Speak to the woman inside the house while Eevee is in the first position of your Pokemon lineup. The woman will tell you the happiness of your Pokemon. If she says "It adores you. It can't possibly love you any more. I even feel happy seeing it" you know your Eevee is at maximum happiness.

  Battle trainers and wild Pokemon to gain experience during the day. In "Pokemon: Emerald," the day is classified from 12 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. The amount of experience Eevee currently has is located on the experience bar underneath his health in battle. When this bar is full, Eevee will gain a level and automatically evolve into Espeon.
