How Do I Catch Regigigas on SoulSilver?

It can be a hassle when your favorite Pokemon, such as Regigigas, is not included in the version of the Pokemon game you are playing when you're trying to catch every Pokemon. Luckily, the creators of Pokemon have allowed a couple methods to catch almost any Pokemon in almost any version of the game. You can catch Regigigas in Pokemon SoulSilver using one of two methods.

Things You'll Need

Second Nintendo DS (optional)
Pokemon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum (optional)
Wi-Fi connection (optional)
Action Replay cartridge (optional)

Instructions

Transfer Method
- 1
  Make sure your two DS' have their Wi-Fi turned on by going to the "Wireless Connection Setup Menu" in the DS main menu and following the instructions to enable the Wi-Fi on your DS.

  Play Pokemon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum. Capture and put a Registeel, Regice and a Regirock in your team. Make sure you have acquired the National Pokedex.

  Go to Snowpoint Temple and find Regigigas on the 6th floor of the Temple. You must have a team of Pokemon at level 50 or higher to reach him.

  Defeat Regigigas and capture him with a Pokeball. Regigigas will be at level 70 when you meet him and will use the Confuse Ray, Stomp, Superpower, and Zen Headbutt abilities. Try to defeat Regigigas in the first five moves, since he has Slow Start, which will cut his attack and speed in half during the first five turns. Use a high-quality Pokeball to capture him. Use a masterball if you have one.

  Go to the nearest Pokecenter and travel to the top floor. Go to the room in the middle of the floor called the "Union Room."

  Play Pokemon Soulsilver on your second DS, leaving the first DS on. Go to the same room in a Pokecenter on your second DS.

  Have your character on one DS talk to the character in the Pokemon SoulSilver game and trade for the Regigigas.
Action Replay Code

  Insert the Action Replay cartridge into your DS and turn it on.

  Replace the Action Replay cartridge with your SoulSilver cartridge when prompted.

  Input the following code to get a Regigigas. This code will replace the sixth Pokemon in your party, so make sure you do not have a Pokemon there that you want to keep. The code is:
