How to Give Celio the Sapphire & Ruby on FireRed

After you have beaten the Elite Four in "Pokemon FireRed," you still have many new items to find and quests to take. Beating the Elite Four allows you to travel on Vermilion City's ferry. The ferry takes you to a relatively unexplored area called the Sevii Islands, where a man named Celio asks you to find a sapphire and ruby for him. With these gems, he is able to make his Pokemon trading machine work. Once you give the gems to Celio, you can transfer Pokemon from the "Ruby" and "Sapphire" games into the "FireRed" world.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to Vermilion City and head to the docks. Get on the ferry to go to Sevii Islands.

  Go into the Pokemon Center on the island and talk to Celio, who will ask you to retrieve the ruby and sapphire.

  Travel to Mt. Ember and go upstairs. Walk right. Battle the two Team Rocket members and then enter the cave.

  Walk down the path and push the rocks out of your way. Walk on the south path and enter the next room. Pick up the ruby on the ground. Leave Mt. Ember.

  Return to Celio and give him the ruby. He trades your Tri-Pass, which you got for beating the seventh gym leader, for a Rainbow Pass.

  Travel through the islands until you reach Ruin Valley on Six Island. Cut open the door that is blocking your path. Enter Dotted Cave.

  Leap into the hole in front of you. Jump in the north hole and then jump in the west, east and south holes. Pick up the sapphire. A Team Rocket scientist arrives and steals it.

  Go to Five Island and make your way to the Rocket Warehouse. Once inside, talk to the scientist in the top-right corner of the room. Fight the scientist to win back the sapphire.

  Return to One Island and talk to Celio. When you give him the sapphire, the trading machine is fixed.
