How Do I Get the Dig Move in Pokemon Emerald

Dig is a Ground-type attack introduced in the first generation of "Pokemon" games. In "Pokemon Emerald" and the other third generation "Pokemon" games, Dig is a 60-base-power attack that takes two turns to execute fully. On the first turn, the Pokemon burrows underground, protecting itself from all attacks, except for Earthquake and Magnitude. On the second turn, the Pokemon surfaces and deals damage to the target. In "Pokemon Emerald," players can obtain Dig from the Fossil Maniac's little brother.

     Defeat Wattson in the Mauville Gym to obtain the Dynamo Badge. Head north from Mauville City and defeat the trainers as they confront you.

     Ride the Mach Bike across the desert sands and head west onto Route 113. Defeat any trainers who challenge you.

     Continue west to reach Fallarbor Town. Head west onto Route 114 and continue on to Meteor Falls.

     Defeat Fisherman Nolan in battle and enter the house beside him. Talk to the boy inside of the house to obtain TM28, which contains Dig.
