How to Get Wonder Guard in Pokemon HeartGold

In "Pokemon HeartGold", Pokemon possess special abilities that change the conditions of battle. These abilities activate automatically each time a Pokemon enters the field of battle. One of the rarest abilities in the game is Wonder Guard. Wonder Guard makes the Pokemon possessing it immune to any non-Super Effective damage. There is only one way to get a Pokemon with this ability.

Instructions

  Capture a Nincada. In HeartGold, Nincada can only be caught in the National Park during the Bug Catching Contest. This event is held three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Nincada only appears on Thursdays and Saturdays once you have the National Pokedex. Your Pokedex is upgraded to the National Pokedex after beating the Elite Four the first time.

  Purchase an extra Pokeball and leave a spot open in your party.

  Level Nincada until it reaches level 20. A level 20 Nincada evolves into Ninjask. Check your party to find a Shedinja has used your spare Pokeball and is occupying the open slot in your party. Shedinja has Wonder Guard.
