Legacy of Goku II Cheats for the Game Boy Advance SP

Atari and Webfoot Technology released "Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II" for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance system in 2003. This action-adventure sequel to "The Legacy of Goku," also playable on the Game Boy Advance SP, puts players in the shoes of Goku and follows the fantastical "Dragon Ball Z" storyline to a tee. Gamers can play by the book or even the odds with a variety of cheats.
  1. Unlock Hercule

    • Gamers can play as cult-favorite "Dragon Ball Z" character Hercule -- also known as Satan or Mr. Satan -- by completing a few little tricks in "Legacy of Goku II." First, reach level 50 with Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta and Trunks. With each character, go to the character-specific gates marked with the number 50. Gohan's gate is just outside Gingertown, Piccolo's is in New Namek, Trunks' lies in West City and Vegeta's is located in the Northern Mountains. Visit the gates and complete the Cell Games to unlock Hercule.

    Alternative Ending

    • Unlocking Hercule also gives players access to a secret ending. To view this special ending sequence, reach level 50 with Hercule and visit West City. Locate the door marked with the number 50. Break down the door and enter it for your hidden ending. After viewing the sequence, you can hold the "Down" button or rotate the d-pad in a circular motion to make the credits scroll faster.

    Health Tricks

    • A number of simple tricks and cheats help gamers regain health in "The Legacy of Goku II." If you find yourself running low, simply save, reset, choose another character and switch back to your starting character to instantly regain all of your health. Standing in place for an extended period of time or breaking down the door to the Cell Games and walking into the Cell Games area also does the trick.

    Experience Tricks

    • In "The Legacy of Goku II," experience points gained from defeating enemies make your character grow stronger. Though it's not cheating per se, a few sneaky tricks help you gain experience a little faster than the game designers probably intended. Before you play as Goku, head to the Northern Mountains and locate a barrier that only Goku can break -- you'll see a dinosaur behind the barrier. Attack it through the fence to gain easy experience points. Repeatedly fight the ninjas at General Tao's ninja castle or the alligators and saber-toothed tigers on the Tropical Islands for additional quick points.
