How to Access the Desert Ruins in Sapphire

"Pokémon Sapphire" on the Game Boy Advance tasks you with tracking down and collecting a large variety of Pokémon. One of the most sought after Pokémon is the Regirock -- a mythical, rock-like golem, which specializes in heavy-hitting combat. You can find it in the inner chamber of the Desert Ruins -- but first you need to figure out how to access them.

Instructions

      Travel southwest of Johto to the island of Hoenn. Travel along Route 111 until you arrive at the desert. Enter the cave in the Desert Ruins; it is located in the center of the screen.

      Enter the lobby area and go up to the Braille inscription.

      Take two steps to the right, followed by two steps down.

    • 4

      Use your "Strength" ability; the door will open, allowing you access into the inner chamber of the Desert Ruins.
