How to Find Zapdos in Pokemon FireRed

Zapdos is a legendary Pokemon found at the Power Plant in "Pokemon FireRed" and "Pokemon LeafGreen." The Power Plant can be difficult to explore, because there are many Electrodes that appear as Pokeball items that will attack you if you attempt to grab them. Once you encounter Zapdos, you can challenge him to a battle and attempt to catch him by using Pokeballs. Zapdos is a powerful Lightning-type Pokemon who can only be found once per game.

Instructions

- 1
  Select a Pokemon on your team that knows the HM Fly and use it to go to Route 10.

  Travel north from Route 10 until you reach a body of water. Select a Pokemon that knows the HM Surf and use it to travel east until you reach a wall and then head south. You will see the Power Plant on your left.

  Enter the Power Plant and travel north until you reach a wall.
- 4
  Travel east past the barrels until you reach another wall.
- 5
  Travel north until you reach the northernmost area of the Power Plant and then head west as far as you can go. You will see Zapdos standing next to a large generator.
