Tyrogue is a fighting-type Pokemon introduced in the second generation Pokemon games. It is the pre-evolved or "baby" form of Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Hitmontop and can evolve into one of these Pokemon at level 20 depending on its Attack and Defense stats. A Defense higher than Attack will yield a Hitmonchan, an Attack higher than Defense will yield a Hitmonlee, and an equal Attack and Defense will yield a Hitmontop. In "Pokemon LeafGreen," players can take several measures to hatch a Tyrogue egg.

Place a Pokemon with either the "Flame Body" or "Magma Armor" abilities in your party. These Pokemon include Slugma, Magcargo, Magby and Magmar.

Place the Tyrogue egg in your party and fly to Celadon City. Take the west exit to reach Cycling Road.

Ride the Bicycle down Cycling Road repeatedly until a dialogue box pops up. Press the A button, and the egg will hatch.
