How to Find Articuno in Pokemon Blue

"Pokemon Blue" is an adventure role-playing video game released for the Game Boy by Nintendo in 1989. In this game, you can catch more than 100 different species of Pokemon, including three legendary Pokemon. The first of this trio of legendaries is Articuno, an ice- and flying-type Pokemon that resides within the cave on Seafoam Island. Once you reach this cave, you must solve a mini-puzzle to find Articuno.

Instructions

  Enter the cave on Seafoam Island.

  Press "Start" and select any Pokemon that uses Strength, which lets you push boulders by walking against them. Select "Strength." Push the right-most boulder into the nearby hole. Fall down the hole after the boulder. You will fall into a river.

  Swim up to the nearby land and take the ladder back up. Push the two boulders into the nearby holes; only one boulder goes in each hole. Fall in one of the two holes after the boulder.

  Swim to the piece of land with a tiny bird icon displayed in the middle. This is Articuno.
