How to Obtain the GS Ball in Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold

The GS Ball was first introduced in "Pokemon Crystal" in order to catch the rare, legendary creature Celebi. Although you can't obtain the GS Ball through the game, the GameShark cheat device allows the GS Ball to appear in any PokeMart shop in the game.

  Insert the GameShark cartridge into your Game Boy and attach the Pokemon SoulSilver or HeartGold cartridge to the GameShark.

  Power on the Game Boy device and wait for the GameShark menu to appear.

  Arrow down to the "Enter Code" option on the GameShark menu and press the "A" button to enter the code.

  Type in the code for the GS Ball: "013F2D0."

  Press the "Start" button on your Game Boy device to boot up the Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver game.

  Go to the nearest PokeMart and speak with the counter clerk. Select the "GS Ball" item from the item menu, and purchase it.
