How to Use Itemfinder in Pokemon Sapphire

"Pokemon Sapphire" was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. The Itemfinder is given to you after your second battle with your rival. Unfortunately, you are not provided instructions on how to use it. When used properly, the Itemfinder allows you to find hidden items that you would otherwise not see. These items are located throughout the game world, so you will have to constantly use the Itemfinder throughout the game.

     Press "Start" and select "Bag."

     Select the "Key Items" tab.

     Select "Itemfinder" and press "A." The Itemfinder will immediately tell you if an item is in the vicinity, and will rotate your character to point in its direction.

     Continue to use the Itemfinder in order to isolate the exact location of the item.

     Press "A" next to the empty patch of land where you think the item is. If you are correct, you will find the item.
