How to Unlock You Vs. Boo on Super Mario Bros Deluxe

In "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe," for the GameBoy Color, you return to the Mushroom Kingdom to save the Princess from Bowser's clutches. The game, an enhanced version of the original "Super Mario Bros." for the Nintendo, offers plenty of secrets and extra content. One secret you're able to unlock is the You vs. Boo mode. In this mode, you are tasked with racing through the stages against the ghost, Boo. Winning against Boo is a challenge, since he has the ability to fly through walls and is very fast.

     Power on the GameBoy Color, and start playing "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe." Select "Original Mode" at the title screen.

     Play through the game until you earn 100,000 points. You earn points by defeating enemies, collecting coins and clearing levels. When you reach 100,000 points, "You vs. Boo" mode is unlocked.

     Return to the title screen, and select the Boo icon to start racing in "You vs. Boo." You are able to select the stage you want to race through.
