How to Get Espeon in Pokemon LeafGreen

Pokémon Trainers will have to play resourcefully to get an Espeon in "Pokémon LeafGreen." The game lacks an internal clock, which is needed to evolve Eevee into Espeon. You will need to import the Psychic-type Espeon from "Pokémon Sapphire," "Pokémon Emerald" or "Pokémon Ruby." The extra effort needed to obtain and carry Espeon over to "Pokémon LeafGreen" makes it a valuable rarity in the game.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Find an Eevee in "Pokémon LeafGreen." Go to the top floor of the Department Store in Celadon City and talk to everyone on that level to receive an Eevee as a gift.

    • 2

Trade Eevee to "Pokémon Ruby," "Pokémon Sapphire" or "Pokémon Emerald." You need to move Eevee to one of these "Pokémon" games because evolving Eevee into Espeon depends on the time of day, and "Pokémon LeafGreen" does not have a time function.

    • 3

Raise the happiness level of Eevee to get it to evolve into Espeon. Use expensive vitamin items, such as Carbos and Calcium, on it, while avoiding bitter food items. Always keep Espeon in your party and walk long distances to bond with the little creature. Once it has a high level of happiness, level Eevee up during the day to have it evolve into Espeon.

    • 4

Trade Espeon back to "Pokémon LeafGreen" from the "Pokémon" game you used to evolve Eevee.
