Barbie Games for the Game Boy Advance

The Game Boy Advance was Nintendo's 32-bit hand-held video game system. Nintendo brought the system to the market in March 2001 and released games for the system until 2008. During this time, consumers saw the release of seven different games featuring Barbie and her friends as well as a repackaging of multiple games on one cartridge called "Barbie Superpack."
  1. "Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses"

    • The movie "Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses" serves as the basis for the game of the same name. The game has a total of 16 levels and four mini-games. You take the role of Genevive and explore the castle grounds, interacting with characters from the movie including Genevieve's pet cat Twyla.

    "Barbie: Magic of Pegasus"

    • A movie of the same name also inspires "Barbie: Magic of Pegasus." You take the role of Princess Annika and search for the Wand of Light by solving puzzles, avoiding enemies and discovering magical items. This game features 20 levels and five different locations to explore; many levels allow you to fly on your flying horse, Brietta.

    "Barbie Groovy Games"

    • "Barbie Groovy Games" is a collection of mini-games featuring Barbie and her friends. There are nine games, including simple childhood classics and puzzle games with Barbie-themed characters and backgrounds. This game offers a multiplayer mode so you can challenge your friends.

    "Barbie Horse Adventure"

    • In "Barbie Horse Adventure," Barbie rides her horse in a national horse event. You get to choose from a variety of outfits and control the horse as you race to win the blue ribbon. The game features four mini-games and multiple difficulty levels, giving it additional replay value.

    "Barbie: Island Princess"

    • "Barbie: Island Princess" is another Barbie game that receives inspiration from a movie. "Barbie: Island Princess" is a party-style game with two-player capability. You play as Rosella, a shipwrecked princess, and follow the storyline from the movie while playing 28 mini-games. Many of the animals that befriend Rosella in the movie appear in the mini-games.

    "Barbie Diary: High School Mystery"

    • "Barbie Diary: High School Mystery" allows you to take on multiple roles of Barbie and her friends. There is a mystery to solve at Barbie's school, and it is up to you to figure it out. Explore 19 different locations and play mini-games to find clues that will lead to solving the mystery.

    "Barbie: Secret Agent"

    • "Barbie: Secret Agent" allows you to take the role of Barbie as a secret agent. You will explore several levels and receive help from Barbie's horse, cyber-puppy and other friends along the way. You also get to ride on several vehicles, including personal watercraft, as the game progresses.
