Nintendo Gameboy Instructions

The Nintendo Game Boy was originally released in 1989. Since then, it has had a few upgrades in the form of the Game Boy Color, the Game Boy Advance and the Game Boy Advance SP. No matter which of these versions you own, the instructions for getting them to work are about the same. The only difference is that the Game Boy Advance SP version comes with a charger.

Instructions

      Insert a pair of AA batteries into the back of the Game Boy. For the Game Boy Advance SP, plug in its AC adapter until the light on the SP's side turns green.

      Insert a Game Boy game into the slot. Remember that Game Boys, like many home systems, are backward compatible only. Original Game Boy games will play on the Color, Advance and SP systems, but an SP game won't play on anything but the SP.

      Push the power switch up to the "On" position. The game will automatically start.
