How to See Ghosts in Pokemon Yellow

In Pokemon Emerald, you are on a quest to collect all eight gym badges. Each badge you collect will bring you closer to a position in the championship. In order to collect these badges, you must defeat the gym leader in each area. Outside of the gyms are random wild Pokemon ready to be captured. (Some Pokemon cannot be captured or seen.)

     Enter Pokemon Tower. This area is populated with ghosts.

   • 2

     Enter into battle with a ghost.

   • 3

     Open up the Pokedex. (This will show information and stats about the Pokemon.)

   • 4

     Exit the Pokedex to return to the battle screen. The Ghost will now be visible. You cannot capture the Ghost, but you will now be able to view it.
