How to Get the HM Waterfall in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

In "Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon," your job is to hunt for and rescue Pokemon who have become lost or in trouble in various places in the game world. Two of the locations you must explore in this 2006 release are Solar Cave and Waterfall Pond, large caverns with plenty of floors to traverse. You will find the HM Waterfall item in Solar Cave; this item gives you the ability to explore Waterfall Pond.

Instructions

  Head to Town Square and speak to Medicham, Lombre and Whishcash. Talking with these three characters in this order will unlock the Solar Cave area. You also get the HM Dive ability, which permits your characters to walk on water.

  Form your team before entering Solar Cave near the town. You must have one who can ford water, such as a "Water" type or one with an ability such as "All Terrain Hiker."

  Explore each floor for keys. These can be found by simply walking around the areas until you spot them. The keys open doors that lead to lower floors.

  Grab HM Dive on the tenth floor if you didn't already get it in the Town Square. If you already have it, there will be a Link Cable at this location instead.

  Find HM Waterfall by going down to the 15th floor. Walk to the item to pick it up. You can now go through waterfalls and access Waterfall Pond.
