"Pokemon Pearl" is a game in which you take on the role of a Pokemon trainer. The primary purpose is to collect eight gym badges and become the greatest trainer in the world. New to the series in this installment is the ability to add your own personal signature to your trainer card. This adds a personal touch to your card, and it can be viewed by millions of other players across the world. Once you have added a signature, you can change it again whenever you want.

Walk inside any Pokecenter. These are marked by signs that say "Pokecenter" on them, and you can find a Pokecenter in any major city.

Walk up the stairs.

Walk up to the first girl on the second floor.

Press "A," and she will ask you if you want to change your signature. Say "Yes" and sign your name when prompted.
