How to Hatch an Egg in LeafGreen

Players of "Pokemon LeafGreen" and "Pokemon FireRed" from 2004 can breed their Pokemon to produce an egg. The hatched egg will produce a level-five Pokemon. You must have five or less Pokemon on your team when you retrieve your egg or the Pokemon breeder won't give it to you. The "LeafGreen" and "FireRed" versions were made for the Game Boy Advance system.

Instructions

    • 1

Take the egg from the Pokemon breeder and place it on your Pokemon team.

    • 2

Press any direction on the directional-pad to make your character take a step.

    • 3

Walk or ride your bike around to build up "steps" until the egg hatches. The exact number of steps it takes to hatch an egg varies depending on which Pokemon you are trying to hatch. According to Serebii.net, the number of steps can be as few as 1,000 or as many as 10,000.
