How to Find the Sapphire in Leaf Green

The Sapphire, or Sapphire Plate, is a key item in "Pokemon FireRed" and "Pokemon LeafGreen" for the Game Boy Advance. When the player presents the Sapphire Plate and the Ruby Plate to Celio on One Island, Celio will fix the Transfer Machine, allowing the player to trade Pokemon from "FireRed" or "LeafGreen" to "Ruby," "Sapphire," or "Emerald," and vice-versa. In "Pokemon LeafGreen," players can obtain the Sapphire Plate deep within the Rocket Secret Base on the fifth Island.

Instructions

  Enter the Ice Cave on Island 4 and help Lorelei defeat the Rocket Grunt in a Pokemon battle. Go to Island 6 and use "Cut" on the door. Enter the Island 6 Cave.

  Fall down the first hole to land in a room with four holes. Fall down the top hole next, then the left, right and bottom holes. Pick up the Sapphire Plate, which the scientist will immediately steal from you.

  Fly to Island No. 5 and enter the Rocket Secret Base. Follow the floor tiles and defeat the Rocket Grunts. Defeat the scientist to obtain the Sapphire Plate.
