How to Get the Rail Pass on Gold Version

Released in 2000, "Pokemon Gold Version" is the second installment of the "Pokemon" series. You assume the role of a Pokemon trainer in "Pokemon Gold Version," and you venture on a quest to earn gym badges and foil the plans of the evil syndicate Team Rocket. You need to travel between the Kanto and Johto regions during you adventure to collect all of the gym badges and catch different Pokemon. One way to do this is by obtaining a rail pass, which you can get in Saffron City.

  Travel to Saffron City, and head for the house that is two buildings north of the Pokecenter.

  Enter the house, and go upstairs to talk with the girl named Copycat. She explains that she has lost her Clefairy Doll in Vermilion City.

  Select "Yes" when Copycat asks you to help her find the Clefairy Doll.

  Travel to Vermilion City, and enter the house just south of the gym. After talking to the large man inside, he will give you the Clefairy Doll.

  Travel to Saffron City, and go back to Copycat's house.
- 6
  Talk to Copycat and agree to give her the Clefairy Doll to get the rail pass.
