How to Transfer Data From Golden Sun 1 to 2

"Golden Sun" is a role-playing game for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. A sequel, "Golden Sun: The Lost Age," was also created for the Game Boy Advance. You can transfer your information from "Golden Sun" to "Golden Sun: The Lost Age" by applying a password to a new game in "Golden Sun: The Lost Age." No transfer cable and second Game Boy Advance is needed to perform this transfer.

Instructions

  Insert the first "Golden Sun" game into your Game Boy Advance.

  Go to the main menu by pressing "Start" after the screen loads. Hold down the "Left" arrow and "R" shoulder button. Tap the "B" button while continuing to hold down "Left" and "R." An envelope appears. Using the directional pad, select the envelope and press the "Start" button.

  Select the password option that you want. The "Bronze" option transfers only your power level and earned Djinn. The "Silver" option gives you your power level, earned Djinn and character stats. The "Gold" option give you your power level, earned Djinn, character stats, items and coins. Select the option you want. Write down the password that you are given.

  Turn off the game and remove it. Insert the cartridge for "Golden Sun: The Lost Age" into the system. Choose the "New Game" option. The game will now ask you if you want to transfer any information to this game. Enter the password you were given in the first "Golden Sun" game.
