How to Get to Pewter City on Pokemon: Gold Version

Pewter City is in the Kanto region of the Pokemon universe. It is the site of the Pokemon Museum and the Pewter City Gym. Pewter City is accessible in "Pokemon Gold" after the player obtains all eight Johto gym badges and defeats the Elite Four and the League Champion. In Pewter City, players must defeat Brock, its gym leader, to get a Boulder Badge. They must also get a Silver Wing from an old man standing by the Poke Mart. The Silver Wing is necessary to access the pokemon Lugia.

Instructions

  Talk to Professor Elm to get the S.S. Ticket. Ride the S.S. Aqua from Olivine City to Vermilion City.

  Travel north to Saffron City and defeat Sabrina. Continue north to reach Cerulean City. Defeat the trainers on the Nugget Bridge. Go to the Cerulean Gym and defeat Misty.

  Go east until you pass the power plant. Go through the rock tunnel to reach Lavender Town. Enter the Radio Tower and talk to everyone inside to receive the Expansion Card. Head west through Saffron City to reach Celadon City. Enter the Celadon Gym and defeat Erika.

  Head west on your bike onto Cycling Road. Ride south and head east to reach Fuchsia City. Defeat Janine there and head back to Lavender Town.

  Go south on Route 11, and tune in to the Pokeflute channel to wake Snorlax. Defeat or capture Snorlax. Go through Diglett's Cave to reach Pewter City.
