Instructions
Plug the Game Boy Advance SP AC adapter cord into the AC adapter port on the bottom of your system.
Plug the other end into a wall socket and allow the internal battery to charge completely. While the battery is charging, you will see the charging light lit up on the Game Boy Advance SP. After the battery is charged, the light will turn off.
Insert a Nintendo Game Boy Advance game into the game cartridge slot with the label facing outward.
Open the Game Boy Advance SP from the folded position to view the screen.
Turn the power switch in the "On" position. The system will turn on and automatically begin playing the game.
Turn the screen light on or off depending on the external lighting.
Play the game using the Game Boy Advance buttons. The plus-shaped directional pad (D-pad) usually controls direction, such as character walking or menu navigation. The "A" and "B" buttons often interact with items and characters, execute major actions, or confirm selections in a menu. The top "L" and "R" buttons often work along with the "A" and "B" buttons to provide alternative buttons that execute actions or switch between inventory items. The "Start" and "Select" buttons often pause the game or open the game's menu.
Turn the system off, remove the game cartridge and shut the screen after you have finished the gaming session. Closing the screen will not turn the Game Boy Advance SP off automatically.
