How to Beat the Elite Four on Pokemon Fire Red

In the Pokemon universe, the Elite Four are the most powerful trainers in a region, second only to the Pokemon League Champion. In order to battle them, you must first defeat the region's eight Gym Leaders and obtain their badges as proof of victory. In "Pokemon FireRed" and "LeafGreen," the Elite Four consists of the ice-type trainer Lorelei, the fighting-type trainer Bruno, the ghost-type trainer Agatha, and the dragon-type trainer Lance.

Instructions

  Raise your Pokemon to at least level 60. Keep your team balanced type-wise and learn powerful attacks such as psychic, ice beam, and thunderbolt. Recommended Pokemon include Alakazam, Zapdos, Lapras, Blastoise, and Jolteon.

  Use electric, grass, or fighting-type attacks to defeat Lorelei's Dewgong, Cloyster, Slowbro, and Lapras. Defeat Jynx with a powerful physical attack.

  Use water or grass-type attacks such as surf and giga drain to defeat Bruno's two Onix. Defeat Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Machamp with flying or psychic-type attacks such as drill peck and psychic.

  Defeat Agatha's entire team with a strong psychic-type sweeper such as Alakazam or Mewtwo. Use full heals if necessary to counter Gengar's status-inflicting moves.

  Use thunderbolt or thunder to defeat Lance's Gyarados. Use ice beam or blizzard to defeat the remainder of Lance's team.
