How Do You Get Past the Police in the Pokemon Blue Version?

In "Pokemon Blue Version" players hear that Team Rocket, a gang of Pokemon snatchers, have ransacked a house and taken an important item. The policeman at the door will not let you pass, regardless of the level of your Pokemon. To get the policeman to leave the area you must perform another unrelated task. Once it is done the door will be unguarded and you will face a member of Team Rocket.

Instructions

- 1
  Defeat Misty, the Gym Leader at the Cerulean City gym, to receive the water badge.

  Go to Route 24.

  Head East and defeat the Pokemon trainers there.

  Find "Bill's House" at the far end of the route. It will be the only house there; walk in.

  Help Bill by walking up to his machine and pressing "A" after some dialogue. He will thank you and after some more dialogue he will give you a ticket.

  Head back to Cerulean City and you will find that the police officer has left the scene.
- 7
  Head out the back door to battle a member of Team Rocket.
