How to Get Bason in Shaman King: Master of Spirits

"Shaman King: Master of Spirits" is a platform-style game for the Game Boy Advance. As a player progresses through the game, his avatar gains new weapons and abilities. One of these is the ability to summon Bason, a powerful spirit. To gain this ability, you must defeat the boss Len Tao at the end of level six.

Instructions

  Confront the level boss Len Tao at the end of level six.

  Avoid Len Tao's main attack by waiting, poised to jump, on one of the platforms in the fight arena. When Len slams his sword into the ground, spikes will shoot up from the platform. (If you're not on the platform, the spikes will come up from the ground instead.) Jump down from the platform as Len drives his sword into the ground, and slash him two or three times, before he pulls his weapon out of the ground.

  Use the Grand Halo Blade attack instead, if you've already acquired it, to deal some serious damage to Len and knock him out momentarily.

  Dodge Bason's fist when Len Tao summons Bason. If you get hit with the fist directly, it will deal you 75 damage. If you're on the ground when it comes down, the concussive force of the fist will still deal you 11 damage. Make sure you're in midair when the fist hits the ground. Len summons Bason only when his health is very low, so at this point you've almost defeated him.

  Continue fighting Len until his health is entirely depleted. Upon his defeat, you'll gain the ability to summon Bason just like he could.
