How to Get Lapras on Diamond & Pearl

Lapras is a species of Pokemon available for you to find and capture in the "Pokemon Diamond" and "Pearl" games for the Nintendo DS. This Pokemon is particularly useful against other Pokemon who use fire attacks. You'll have to train your Pokemon to a certain level before you can find Lapras and, even then, your odds of running into this type of Pokemon are low.

Instructions

      Battle your Pokemon against other wild Pokemon and against other trainers until your team is between Level 40 and 60.

      Travel to Victory Road and enter Back Room 1.

      Leave this location and come back a few times if Lapras isn't there when you arrive. You might have to do this a few times before you see this Pokemon.

    • 4

      Fight Lapras and weaken it, then deploy a PokeBall to capture it.
