How to Change Your Pokemon Fire Red Character

"Pokemon Fire Red" is a remake of the original Pokemon game, "Pokemon Red." "Pokemon Fire Red" has improved graphics as compared to the original game, although the characters are the same and the game is set in the Kanto region from the original game. "Pokemon Fire Red" allows players to choose either a male or female character at the game start. While the "Pokemon Fire Red" game does not allow character changes after the initial choice, Action Replay and Game Shark devices can be used to bypass this by entering codes that allow in-game character changes.

Instructions

Action Replay Methods

  Attach the Action Replay device to the cartridge slot of the Game Boy Advance.

  Insert the Pokemon Fire Red cartridge, upside down, into the cartridge slot on the Action Replay device.

  Turn the Game Boy Advance power switch to the "On" position and allow the Pokemon Fire Red game a few moments to load.

  Enter any of the following codes using the Game Boy Advance's directional pad and "A" buttons. These codes will change your current character into a random character from other Pokemon games (one of the male characters from Pokemon Red, Silver or Emerald) 6825baf7, 7fbb91b5, 9235678b, 71e2b75e, 31173ef4 or D141bfa4.
Game Shark For Game Boy Advance

  Insert a Game Shark device into the cartridge slot of the Game Boy Advance.

  Place the Pokemon Fire Red cartridge into the cartridge slot of the Game Shark.

  Turn the power switch on the Game Boy Advance to the "On" position and wait for the Pokemon Fire Red game to load.

  Press the "B" button, the left directional arrow and the down directional arrow all at the same time, then release all buttons.
